TRAction is excited to announce the launch of Chantal Stormsong Chagnon’s new album, Chickadee in the Tree (Kicîskisîs Mîtosihk). Through eleven tracks that blend traditional Indigenous songs and stories with ones newly written by Chagnon, Chickadee in the Tree will drop on all platforms on Jan 30th.
The album offers something for everyone – from young children to elders – with songs and stories inspired by Chagnon’s own children, as well as children and community members that she has worked with for years in Treaty 7 and beyond.
