Since the first Aisinna’kiiks dinner and dialogue series in 2017, this annual series – sponsored by Calgary Arts Development – has brought together members of the arts community, students and educators, First Nations members and Elders to share a meal, stories and experiences. Presenting Indigenous artists, the gathered participants reflect on the art together, with significant learning generated for all.
After performing as an artist and serving for years on the organizing committee, Chantal was selected to be the Artist Liaison for the series for 2025-26. She is glad to be supporting the artists this year through an event that explores how to share common ground and celebrate difference through art-making.
