In November, Chantal traveled to New Zealand to be part of the World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Education (WIPCE). Chantal offered two sessions as part of the conference – one on Medicine Wheel Teachings as well as a mainstage presentation on Smudging, Drumming and Storytelling. Since its inception in 1987, WIPCE has united Indigenous educators, leaders and knowledge keepers in a shared vision – to honour, preserve and advance Indigenous education.
